Walter St. George Jr. passed away March 2, 2019 in Yakima at 87 years of age. He was born January 17, 1932 in Yakima to Walter Sr. and his wife, Marguerita Cecilia.
 
Raised and educated in the Yakima Valley, he began his career with the Yakima Bindery, followed by working for Cliff Miller, specializing in typewriter and business machine repair. Eventually he opened his own business and was sought out for many years by people that wanted to restore or fix a vintage machine.
 
Walter had two sisters Lucille Gallert, of Yakima, and Shirley St. George, of Seattle. His brother, Irving lived in Selah. 
 
Walter married Mary Rust on June 21, 1951 and they had seven children. He is survived by daughter, Suzanne Pieti, and sons, Chris (Wendy), Loren, and Jeff (Penny). He was preceded in death by his sons, Daniel and Vincent, and his daughter, Elizabeth. Walter is survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
 
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 6th at Brookside Funeral Home (500 W Prospect, Moxee, WA 98936) at 11:00 am.
