Robert “Bob” Pahl, dear friend and loving father, passed away on January 29, 2019, at the age of 65. Bob was born in Swan River, Manitoba on November 10, 1953. He was the son of Harry and Anita (Jones) Pahl.
Bob served two tours in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Upon his return, he married Lynn (Waller) Pahl in March of 1977 and raised a family. Although they divorced many years later, Bob and Lynn remained close friends until his death.
Bob was a skilled master carpenter who left his mark on many of the homes of our valley. His artistic eye and creativity helped to create beautiful custom cabinetry and furniture for hundreds of families to enjoy.
Bob always worked to put his family first. His family knew Papa would do what he could to help us in any time of need. He taught his children to love deeply, have a strong work ethic, and to cherish long road trips full of adventure and great music. Although his family spread from Canada to Texas, he was always thinking of them near and far.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Harry, mother, Anita, and brother, Harry Jr. He is survived by his sister, Janet (Bob) Hughes, former wife, Lynn Pahl, his daughters, Adrianne (Sean) Phillips, Jessica (Jason) Chase, Stephanie Pahl, all of Yakima, and son, Ted Alaimo of California. Bob also leaves behind his 8 grandchildren, Isabella, Michaela, Broderik, Jayda, Bryson, Olivia, Bella, and Brayden.
