Thomas Micheal Newman passed away on November 17, 2018 at Cottage in the Meadow, surrounded by his daughters. Tom was born January 30, 1953 in Yakima, WA to John Harry and Delores Newman. Tom grew up and lived most of his life in the White Swan and Harrah areas, he graduated from White Swan High School in 1971.  After graduation he worked at the White Swan Lumber Mill. Tom married our mother Sheryl, together they had four daughters; Kara, Kendra, Kayce, and Kyla. He enjoyed Jeeping, trail riding and helping his parents with their cattle. He also enjoyed spending time in the mountains, where he appreciated the quiet and solitude. After the closure of the White Swan Lumber Mill, Tom decided to enroll into the electrical program at Perry Tech and he became a Journeyman Electrician. With his second marriage, Tom gained two more daughters; Katie and Beth, in which he always thought of as his own.
If you needed someone to go on an adventure with, he was your guy. Tom had a big heart, he was always willing to jump in and help others. He never knew a stranger, he could stir up a conversation with just about anyone. Tom loved being a 4-H dad, spending time with his daughters and teaching them how to care for their project animals.  The last few years he looked forward to his daily trips to the Cougar Den where he would pick up his newspaper and catch up with the locals. Tom also could be found supporting his grandchildren at soccer games, team penning competitions and dance recitals. He was very proud of his daughters and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Harry Newman and sister, Vicky Campbell.
He is survived by his mother, Delores Newman of Union Gap, daughters; Kara (Jon) Robert of Galveston, TX, Kendra (Justin) Hauver of Moxee, Kayce (Joel) Pacheco of Othello, Kyla (Joseph) Ramos of Selah, Katie Newman of Prosser and Beth (Sam) MacCalla of Oceanside, CA.  Grandchildren; Dakota and Connor Estabrook, Carson Hauver, Elianna and Dominick Ramos and Ryden Pacheco.
