Lillian Gaudette

Lillian (McHugh) Gaudette was born August 24, 1925 in New York, New York to John and Cornelly McHugh.  She was raised in Waterbury, Connecticut where she attended Catholic school. In her teens, she moved to San Diego, California with her family.  It was there that she met her husband, Dean Gaudette.  They were married on Christmas Eve, 1945 in Yakima where they lived most of their married life.  Lillian was the school librarian at St. Paul’s School for several years, but for the greater part of her life, a homemaker.  She and dad moved to Green Valley Arizona in 1992 where they enjoyed the warm weather and made many good friends. After Dean died, Lillian returned to Yakima to live with family.  She passed away October 30, 2018 at Living Care Health Care Center from pneumonia.  

She is survived by her five children and their partners, Susan Gaudette & Barbara Haro, Dan and Belinda Gaudette, Paul Gaudette and Arthur Ferguson, Julie and Marshall Paradis, and Chuck Gaudette and Cherry Williamson.  Lillian is also survived by four grandchildren, Helene, David, Matthew and Joseph, as well as two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Anthony.  
The Funeral Service will be held at Meyer Auditorium on the Living Care Campus at 1:00 pm, on Friday November 9, 2018.  Memorials may be made to Living Care Retirement Community and sent in care of Brookside Funeral Home (PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936), who is caring for the family.
