Brent H. Miller, of Yakima, was called home on July 5, 2018.  Brent was received into Jesus’ loving arms at 4:15 p.m. surrounded by his family and friends.

Brent was born August 12, 1958, in Yakima, to Robert and Delores Miller.

Brent graduated from Davis High School, and after some travel playing music, he settled in Yakima.

Brent worked for AB Foods, Washington Beef Division, for the last 32 years.  That was not just a job – it was his people, his family, his friends.  We will be eternally grateful for all the love and support AB Foods has shown us.
Brent has played in many bands over the years; from the early days of Spectrum, to The Horn, Nitelife, and the Moonlighters.  Brent also played drums on the worship team at First Presbyterian Church (now Grace of Christ) adding his amazing talent in worshipping God.  He will be remembered as one of the most solid drummers to work with, having an awesome sense of timing, rhythm and creativity.

Survivors include his wife, Monnie; his children, Jamie Schroeder, Daaron (Breanna) Kuiken and Taylor Miller; grandchildren, Dominik Tamez, Gabriel Tamez, Elijah Schroeder, Rilee Kuiken, Annabel Kuiken, and a new little girl that’s on the way. Brent is also survived by his mother-in-law, Lugene Borba; his sister, Patricia Adams; brother, Dennis (Cheryl) Miller; Aunt Verdona Bemmer; Cousins, including Diane (Bob) Traner; nieces, Susan Adams, Jasmine Saucedo, and nephews, Jordan Miller and Kyle Miller.
Sometimes you have family and sometimes your friends become your family.  Some of those people are, Craig (Misty) Prince, Glen (Denise) Brookman, Brian (Mei) Platt, Laura Yolo, Kevin Lawson, and Louie Rodriguez. Brent was preceded in death by his son, Austin Miller; parents, Robert and Delores Miller; aunts, Ione Hall, Georgia Lamb, and Irene Christie, Uncle Frank Christie, and his Papa in law, Ed Borba.
