Sergio E. Llamas, 54, of Yakima, WA, passed away on Friday May 4, 2018 from a heart attack. He was born September 9, 1963 in Chutla, Guerrero, Mexico, to Pablo Llamas and Celia Espino. At the age of 14 he ventured to the US to work. He found a job in Naches where he worked in an orchard for many years. He eventually met the love of his life, Mirna, and began their family in 1989. They now have 3 children and a grandchild that is like a son to them. Sergio would soon begin working in construction. His first job in construction was with Jerry Sodorff where construction became his passion as it was his dad’s as well. His other passion in life was his grandson, Julian, they spent a lot of time together. He always made time for him. He was well known for being such a hard worker and always accomplishing the tasks at hand with great pride. He was a compassionate, generous, patient, hardworking and a loving man who always had a joke and a warm smile for everyone. His sense of humor brightened everyone’s life. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, neighbors and all those who knew him; he always made everyone feel welcome.

He is survived by his wife, Mirna Llamas, his mother Celia Llamas and his three children; Brissy (Irving), Bianca (Jose) and Sergio and grandson Julian, two brothers; Fredy (Yolanda) and Daniel (Dalia) and four sisters; Aurelia Llamas (Abelardo), Marbella Amaro (Oscar), Janett Llamas (Patrick) and Lily Llamas, and 18 nephews and 20 nieces. 
He is preceded in death by his father, Pablo Llamas and his brother Pablo Llamas.
There will be viewing on Wednesday May 9, 2018 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Brookside Funeral Home (500 W. Prospect, Moxee WA 98936) and a Funeral Service on Friday May 11, 2018 at 12:30 also at Brookside Funeral Home. A procession to Tahoma Cemetery will follow.
