Patrick D. Morgan passed away peacefully following a stroke on May 1, 2018 in Yakima, WA. He was born in Wenas, WA and grew up in Union Gap. Growing up he spent a lot of time working with horses with a love and passion that continued into his adult years. He was a Navy Corpsman assigned with a five-man Marine Corps squadron during the Vietnam War. Using the medical skills that he acquired during his time with the Navy, Pat went on to become a highly respected paramedic with the city of San Diego for over 20 years. After moving back to the Union Gap area, he continued to help others working as a delivery technician for specialized medical equipment for homebound patients before his retirement. He was a self-trained acoustic guitarist and artist with charcoal as his medium. He was a compassionate, generous, and patient man who always had a joke and a warm smile for everyone and he was deeply loved by all who knew him.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and truly an angel on this earth that will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandee, two children, Bobby (Vicki), Brandi (Elliot), four grandchildren, Trenton (Mikaylah), Lily, Keary, and Paige, and one great granddaughter, Maisyn.
