Judy breathed her last breath and passed on into the hope of glory with our Lord Christ Jesus, in Ellensburg, WA., on April 11, 2018. Judy C. Morris was born on June 4, 1944, in Brownwood, TX, and grew up in Melbourne, AR, where she graduated from Melbourne High School, in 1962.

She moved to Klamath Falls, OR about 1963, to live with her sister. There she met her future husband, Stanley C. Lawrence Jr., who was in the US Air Force, in Klamath Falls. They married in Redding, CA, on August 14, 1964.

Judy attended secretary school in Klamath Falls, college at Glendale Community College, Phoenix, AZ, cosmetology school in Santa Maria, CA and early childhood education classes in Santa Maria, CA, at Allan Hancock College.

Judy was a preschool worker/teacher, primarily in Christian preschools for over 25 years. She loved all her preschool students and they loved her. She had such a large Christian influence on these young children, often being the last one to leave after everyone else had gone for the evening.

Judy was such a strong woman who fought so very hard for years with many illnesses, so she could be there for her family and loved ones, because she cared so deeply for them, but the illnesses finally wore her body out, however she fought to the very end.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Stanley. She is also survived by her two children, Misty (Tim) McGuire and Christian (Kimberly) Lawrence. Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two brothers, Bob (Marie) Morris and Bo (Charlene) Morris all of Melbourne, AR., plus many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three sisters and three bothers.

Judy had such a beautiful, loving, caring soul and she will be truly forever remembered in our hearts and our memories. We wish to thank the staff at KVH Internal Medicine, Prestige Center, and the doctors, nurses, and nurse’s aides at KVH hospital, and the hard workers at the friends of Hospice. Lastly, we wish to thank the diligent and caring staff at Brookside Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Liberty Baptist Church, 507 N Pine St. Ellensburg, at 2:00 p.m.
