Steve Weber, beloved husband, father, brother, and Papa, was received into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, April 15, 2018, with his wife, Margaret and daughters by his side.

Born September 26th, 1949 to Harold and Alma (Favrat) Weber, Steve grew up in Quincy, WA and was proud to be a "Fighting Jackrabbit", graduating from Quincy High School in 1967.  The middle child of 3, he spent his time with school, sports, and working on the family farm.  It was during high school that he met Margaret Anderson, a girl from Ephrata.  High school love blossomed at Washington State University and the two were married on December 27th, 1970 while both still in school.  Steve spent time in the Army National Guard, training at Fort Ord.  Ultimately, he came back to Washington and Margaret, and upon graduation from college, he took a job with INA Insurance Co in Seattle, WA.  It was there that Steve and Margaret welcomed their first daughter, Bethanie.  They moved to the Tri Cities, as Steve took a job with Clark Jennings and Associates in 1976.  It was there that 2 more daughters, Shawna and Lindsi, were born.  CJA took Steve to Wenatchee, where they tried for a son but completed their family with a 4th daughter, Trisha.  Steve would make one final move with CJA, to the Yakima office, where he would ultimately become President and Owner and retired after 40 years with the company in 2016.  He took a three month leave from CJA in 1985 to work with his college buddy Hal Roys and Island Jet Foil in Seattle.  Thankfully, CJA took him back.

In addition to CJA, Steve was proud to turn the family farm into orchard in the early 80's with his brother in law, Harold.  Together, they grew more apples "than Carters got liver pills".  Steve took much joy in just "petting the trees" as he would say.  A gifted orchardist, Steve was well respected in the industry as a leader and proponent for farmers.  In addition to his orchard, Steve loved to spend time with his horses team penning, and you could always count on a rodeo at the "Weberosa" when he invited to get his grandkids to ride!

Steve was a tireless advocate for Young Life, as a leader, serving on committee for many years, and helping to steer many young lives to Christ.  Steve's faith was at the core of who he was, both in family and business.  Steve was the ultimate example of selflessness, always putting his wife, daughters and grandchildren first.

Steve is lovingly survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret, daughters Bethanie (Darren) Hartman, Shawna (Bryon) Mengle, Lindsi Weber and Trisha (Scott) Swanson.  Grandchildren Nyan, Avery, Alyssa, Cohen, Dylan and Emmery.  Sister Louise and brother Clyde and Mother in Law Ina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Alma. Steve will be missed by all who had the fortune to know him.
