 Virgil D. Curtis, passed away on March 10, 2018. He was born on December 12, 1927 to Sam and Virgie Curtis, in Ozone, Arkansas, he was one of five children.

  In the early 1950’s Virgil moved to Ellensburg. Virgil was drafted in 1953 to serve in the Korean War, where he trained as a mechanic. Following his discharge, he returned to Ellensburg and began working for Kelleher Motor Company, where he put his training to good use. 
   Virgil met the love of his life Crystal Shirts, they married on March 14, 1964. The two of them bought their home in the country and began a family. They were married for 54 years. 
   Virgil enjoyed hunting and fishing. He retired in 2001, from Seth Motors. He and Crystal began travelling and spending time with their grandchildren. 
  He and Crystal shared a love for one another that was unshakable, setting an example for their children and grandchildren.
   Virgil is survived by his wife Crystal, son’s; Vince (Diahann) and Lance, daughter’s; Diane (Jim Wink) Curtis and Shanna (John) Silvia, four grandsons; Nicholas, Cameron, Casey and Baker. One granddaughter; Krista. He is also survived by his sister Betty Erickson and brother Tom Curtis.
Virgil was preceded in death by his parents, sister Grace and brother Victor.
   A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 17, at 1:00 pm, at Family Christian Center, 701 E Capitol Ave., Ellensburg. 
   Private inurnment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA. 
   Dad loved the Lord, and never missed an opportunity to share his faith in God.
