Dennis Eugene Cline went home to be with his Savior on Friday, March 9th.  He was surrounded by his family.  Dennis was born in Los Angeles, California, September 15, 1941, to Gene and Sterling Cline. Dennis grew up in California and graduated from Birmingham High School in1959, in Reseda, California.

Dennis met the love of his life, Lenore, at youth group in 1957, at Grace Community Church in Panorama City, California. They married in that same church on October 6, 1961. Dennis and Lenore set up house in Sepulveda, California, while Dennis worked for his father in architectural design. Dennis later worked for Rockwell International. After having five children in Simi Valley, Dennis and Lenore moved to Washington in 1980.  They settled in West Valley and enjoyed attending all their children’s sports and school events and were now attending their grandchildren and great grandchildren’s events. Dennis wore YVC sweatshirts, Oregon State hats and West Valley gear to support all his kids and grandkids. He was the biggest fan anyone could have!

Dennis had a long career as a draftsman. He designed many homes, including one for his son, Rick. He designed and remodeled many buildings but his pride and joy was in designing churches. Dennis was working on a remodel project for the Selah Fire Department where his son Ron is a career fireman.

After leaving Hanford, Dennis and Lenore moved around the country as he supervised construction of food plants. They lived in Texas, Chicago and New York. They enjoyed exploring everywhere they lived and made new friends in their church family in each location. They even traveled to Germany to visit their son Rob while he served in the Army.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lenore, and their five children: Robert (Suzanne) Cline, Randy (Kim) Cline, Rick (Kristine) Cline, Debra (William) Brown, and Ron (Teresa) Cline.  His grandchildren are Teresa, Billy, Jordan, Austin, Darci, Lauren, Shawn, Quinton, Hayden, Jordan, Tanner, Haylee, Christa, Tyler, and Nicole. Dennis enjoyed his 5 great grandchildren: Amaya, Dak, Brielle, John, and Eirik. He was looking forward to a new great grandson due in July. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Sterling Cline and his baby daughter, Karyn Lenore.
