Alcide “Sid” Lenseigne, 76, longtime resident of Moxee, peacefully passed away on February 26, 2018 surrounded by his family.  He was born in Yakima on February 22, 1942 to Albert and Emma Lenseigne. He graduated from Marquette Academy School and Yakima Jr. College.  He served in the US Army and was a longtime East Valley Volunteer Fire Fighter.  He served his country and community with pride. 

Sid dedicated his life to his family, friends, and his farm.  He was a hardworking hop farmer, who taught his kids the value of work ethic. He enjoyed competition shooting and playing golf.  He built great memories with his family and friends. He taught his family right from wrong and led by strong example. 
He is survived by his wife, Shirley, and their children, Tim (Megan) Lenseigne, Tony Lenseigne, LeeAnn Mulhair, Doug (Tori) Mulhair, and David (Michele) Mulhair. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Colin, Stacie, Shalyn, Brittney, and Josh, and his great grandchild, Bo Marie. He is survived by his brother Alfred (Jackie), many nieces and nephews, and other family members. He will miss his coffee buddies, Jerry and Phil, and many friends. 
A Celebration of Sid’s Life will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 2:00-4:00PM at Brookside Funeral Home (500 W Prospect, Moxee). In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Diabetes Association or Cottage In The Meadow, in care of Brookside Funeral Home (PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936), who is in entrusted with the arrangements.   Online condolences may be left at www.brooksidefhc.com.
