Bud (Ronald) Dingman, went to sleep on February 16 and awoke in the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on February 17, 2018. Born in Sherwood, NY, he lived on the family farm until age 18.

He moved to Riverside, CA, and started his first appliance repair store which he operated until 1978. He then relocated to God’s Country, Yakima, WA, and this became his final earthly home.
He began Dingman Appliance Service in Yakima, which kept him busy day and night. When he wasn’t working on business, he was found working at his church, Yakima Bible Baptist. He loved tinkering, whether with the buses, the air conditioner, or anything else he could find to get into. You could locate him anywhere by listening for his singing or yodeling.
He was a faithful church bus driver for over 50 years, head usher, and an all around handy-man. He never met a stranger. His customers often joked they were glad he didn’t charge by the hour because of how long he would talk. He once said that his spiritual gift was being a “server,” and he had a true servant’s heart. There is nothing he wouldn’t do to help someone in need. But the special thing about everything he did was that he expected nothing in return. He didn’t grumble if he didn’t receive a thank you, and he didn’t want a pat on the back. All praise went to God. He never met a soul that he didn’t try to tell about the Good News of Jesus Christ. This is his legacy.
Bud leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Terry Dingman, daughter Linda (Steve), daughter Karen (late husband Ray), daughter Elisabeth, grandson Jim, granddaughters Lori & Alyson, and great-granddaughter Savannah, as well as numerous extended family members and church family. He is now singing and yodeling down the streets of Heaven!
1 Corinthians 15:51-52a “Behold, I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump”
