 Heaven got a new angel on February 11, 2018. Urban John Beaudry, 81, of Yakima, WA., passed away peacefully at Summitview Living Healthcare Center surrounded by his loving family after losing his battle with kidney failure, cancer, and heart disease. 

Urban was born on July 13, 1936 in Yakima, WA., to Oliver and Irene (Thibodeau) Beaudry. Urban graduated from Marquette High School in 1954. Urban served his country by becoming a coast guardsman until honorably discharged. Soon after his service, Urban married his high school sweetheart, Roberta Jean Harmon, on October 27, 1956 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Yakima. Urban was a hard-working man. He worked for Hanford in Richland, Boeing Airfield in Everett, then purchased his own Texaco gas station in Prosser, WA. When 1976 came around, Urban moved his family to Yakima where he would finish his work history with over 30 years at the Yakima County Assessors Office, retiring in 2016. 
 
Urban was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Following in the footsteps of his father, Urban was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Ahtanum Council. He was a 4th Degree Knight and served proudly as Grand Knight, Honor Guard, and various other positions. Urban was loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. 
 
Urban and Roberta took pleasure in camping in their R.V whenever possible and especially loved their time at the annual Beaudry family reunion. Urban was a dedicated fan of the Seahawks but more so a dedicated man to his family. 
 
Urban is survived by his children; Shirley & Robert Wilkinson, Mike & Pam Beaudry, Ron & Elaine Beaudry, all of Yakima, Roger & Ronda Beaudry of Odenton, MD., Steve Beaudry and wife Kelley Shanley of Eugene, OR, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, two brothers; Don Beaudry and wife Derry, Paul Beaudry and wife Chris, one sister, Donna Paulus and her husband Cal. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his daughter, Debra Ann Beaudry-Tarbert, his brothers; Raymond, Richard, Robert, Ronald, Frank, and Alan.
 
Viewing for friends and family will be held at Brookside Funeral Home in Moxee, WA on Friday February 23, 2018 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Recitation of the Rosary will follow at 6:00pm at Holy Family Catholic Church in Yakima. Mass of Christina Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday February 24, 2018 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Moxee, WA.
