Rahnie Earl Lee, 75, of Moxee, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at Astria Regional Medical Center.  Rahnie was born in Yakima on July 18, 1942, to Raymond E. and AtheLyne T. (Dake) Lee.  He lived most of his life in Yakima. 

Rahnie had worked for the city of Yakima for ten years before retiring in 1972 due to a disability.  Rahnie was Mr. Basketball in East Valley, having coached for fifty-four years in the East Valley School District, Yakima Valley College and Davis High School.  He enjoyed helping kids and his family. You could always find him in the corner of the gym, sitting in his lawn chair, yelling at the kids to “GET OFF THE COURT!” 
 
He is lovingly survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorthy of Moxee, son Timothy (Diane) Lee of Issaquah, five grandchildren, Brittnee, Cayla, Kyle, Dylan, and Daniel, and two great grandchildren Wyatt and Ky ‘Mari. He is also survived by three brothers; Robert (Carol) Lee of Colville, David (Liz) Lee of Fort Shaw, Montana, Douglas Lee of Wenatchee, and a sister Theresa.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Dahnie and Joseph Lee, a sister Jean Phelps, and a brother Charles Lee.
