Tommie Lee Fife, 79, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2018 after a valiant 12-day fight at the Astria Regional Heart ICU surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born in Roff, Oklahoma to Lonnie and Georgia Howell on June 27, 1938. In her teens she moved to Lompoc, CA where she finished her schooling, first working as a bank teller and then as a civilian secretary for Vandenberg Air Force Base. In 1969 she moved to Wapato, WA to be near her mother and worked in the insurance field. She met Bill Fife in Selah, WA and they married in May of 1972. Tommie started her trucking bookkeeping career with Davis Transport and in 1984 became owner/operator of Truckers Reporting Company. Tommie LOVED the beach, Packwood auctions, and ELVIS PRESLEY.
Tommie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bill Fife, daughter Kendy (Jim) Merritt, son Dan (Shelly) Yarbrough, step-children Jim (Angie) Fife, Michael (Maggie) Fife, Tonya Fife, 17 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Lonny Yarbrough, step-sons Mark Fife and Tim Fife, her parents, and her two brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held at Selah Civic Center on February 28, 2018 at 11:30 am. A Celebration of Life potluck will immediately follow the service. Please bring a side dish; everything else will be provided. For those who wish to attend, an inurnment will be at the Wenas Cemetery at 4:30pm.
