Marvin W. Sears, born on January 3, 1927, in Cedardale, Oklahoma to John and Lena Sears.  He passed away at Willow Springs Rehabilitation Center in Yakima, Washington on February 3, 2018.  

He grew up in Cedardale area and graduated from Richmond High School.  At the age of 18, he proudly served as a Ranger in the United States Army from 1945 to 1947.  During which time he served a tour of duty in Italy during WWII.  
In 1953, he married Glennys Neagle.  They had two sons, Gary Lynn and Brent Sears.  In 1962, he married the love of his life Ramona Myers-Love, together they started a family with her three children, Gary Duane, Danny, and Vicki Love.  In 1965, Max Sears was born and together they raised six children.
Marvin was a very active businessman. While in Woodward, Oklahoma he owned and operated Boomer Packing Plant, all while continuing to farm and raise livestock.  He moved to Toppenish, Washington in December of 1975, with his family.  Together they established M&R Sales and Towing until 1999, when son, Max, and grandson, Nathan, continued to operate the family business. 
Marvin loved to watch and travel to Seattle Mariner games.  He also enjoyed his occasional gambling trips to Reno, Nevada and he loved to bird and coyote hunt throughout his life.  
He is survived by this wife, Ramona, five sons, Gary Duane (Gina) Love, Gary Lynn (Nila) Sears, Danny (Kay) Love, Brent (Pam) Sears, Max (Jerrie) Sears, and daughter, Vicki (Ted) Smalling.  In addition, 14 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lena Sears, four brothers, Marion, Floyd, Wilbur, Merle (his twin), and one sister, Gladys Clayton.  
A Memorial Service will be held on February 9, 2018 at 10:30 am at Brookside Funeral Home (500 Prospect, Moxee, WA 98936) with a luncheon to follow at the Toppenish Eagles. There will be a Graveside Service in Woodward, Oklahoma at a future date.
