Dannie Russell Hall, passed away peacefully January 11th at the Cottage In The Meadow at the age of 69.  My loving husband is free to soar with the eagles. His wings were ready, but my heart is not.  Dan was born to Junior and Julia Hall on September 27, 1948 in Yakima, WA.

He loved to sing, and karaoke gave him so much joy that he had his own karaoke business for several years, Elvis being his favorite. He would always sing, “Can’t help falling in love with you” to me. He had a beautiful voice that many people will miss.
Along with his first wife Rita, he ran an adult home and raised and bred Yorkies for many years. He worked several years for Dial-a-Ride until his health forced him to retire. He is the love of my life. He truly loved his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. Dan loved fixing things and working with wood. The grandkids would say, “Ask papa, he can fix anything.”
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Diane, brother, Ron (Yoko) Hall of Honolulu, HI, daughter, Michelle (Laron) Mazie, of Louisiana, son, Craig (Angie) Hall, of Selah, daughters, Kandi (Johnnie) Asuncion, of Yakima, Kaniesta (Jose) Mendoza, of Richland, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Rita, parents Junior and Julia Hall, and both sets of grandparents.
Dan asked that there be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Cottage In The Meadow and his caregiver, Mary, for the compassionate care he was given.
