Eleanor Alma (Duffin) Wolfe, “Pepper”, was born 17 September 1929 in Portland Oregon to Ervan L. Duffin and Ireta B. Duffin (Peterson). Pepper was one of 9 children.

Pepper loved her family and was a friend to all she met. Her interests included sewing, quilting, painting, cooking, gardening and working her apple orchard with her husband of nearly 60 years, Bill. She loved big family gatherings, especially Christmas and Easter.  She worked hard to make these occasions especially wonderful for all who came.
Pepper was active in her church and a very faithful Christian with strong convictions to her Savior.
Pepper is survived by her husband, Billy Zane Wolfe, her daughters Nanci Newhall (husband - Jim) of Washington, her daughter Penny Collingridge (husband- Jim) of BC, her daughter Renae Hale (husband - Eric) of Florida, and her step son, Bruce Peugh of Washington.  She is also survived by her brothers, Ted, Roger and Lynden Duffin.  Pepper is predeceased by her daughter Debi Byars, her brothers, Ervan, Grover, and Glen, and two sisters, Mary and Jesse. Pepper has 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Pepper will be missed deeply and forever by all those she loved and love her. She was a gift in life and her profound legacy of love, forgiveness and service is ours to follow.
A Celebration of Peppers life will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 1:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (105 South Hillcrest Drive, Yakima, WA 98901).
