 Lois Marie Watten, 83, of Yakima, peacefully met her Savior, Jesus, November 24, 2017.  She was born December 30, 1933 in Weiser, Idaho, to William and Etta Mae Mitchell.  She was married 66 years to Ed Watten.

 
She is survived by her husband Edwin, of Yakima, and six children; Linda Vrieze (George), Ron Watten, Mahlon Watten, Sharon Grace McConnell (Robert), Rachel McNiece , and Gretchen Foster (David), 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and sister, Grace Fortier and Dorothy Olsen,  and Jack Mitchell, her brother 
 
Lois was “The Best Mom” and homemaker. She was a cook and helped with the family business.
She was known as the sweet lady and one of the world’s best cooks to her family, friends and church camp She preserved 100’s of jars of fruit every year. She loved visiting her children, especially her grandchildren and traveling all over the US. She was a jokester and Seahawks fan. She loved and served her Savior,

A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:00PM at Bible Missionary Church, (52nd & Ahtanum) followed by a reception at West Valley Missionary Church.
