Connie Lee Adams, 73, passed away on November 21, 2017 at the Cottage in the Meadow. Connie was born the daughter of Chester and Agnes Adams on February 29, 1944 in Yakima, Washington. They moved to White Swan where she grew up and later moved back to Yakima, graduating from West Valley High School. 

 
Connie loved rodeo and was actively involved in the Yakama Indian Rodeo Association as a bookkeeper and time keeper. She was part of the Lower Valley Bowling League for many years. Every spring the family would go on a cattle drive for the summer, spending time with family and friends in the mountains. She loved to travel, but couldn’t get passed exit 216. Connie would have regular adventures with her sisters, traveling to casinos around the area and spending time together. She made sure that she was at all her grandchildren’s activities and sporting events.  
 
Connie is survived by her three children, Cathy Miller, Chester (Erika) Adams, Corwin (Josephine) Adams; her five grandchildren, CJ Adams, Cameron Adams, Alexis Adams, Jesse Adams, and Jaelynn Adams; four siblings, Beverley (Babe) Adams-Strong, Vivian Adams, Georgia (Gussie) Monjaraz, and Andrew J. Adams. She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Agnes Adams and Cy and Vera Olney. 
 
A Rosary will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church (5315 Tieton Dr., Yakima, WA 98908) on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 6:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Cottage in the Meadow in care of Brookside Funeral Home (PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936).
