 N. Carolyn Kezele (formerly known as Tucker & Steiner) passed away in Yakima on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Crescent Health Care, due to complications from Alzheimer’s. She was born in Yakima on March 19, 1933 to Robert and Norma Tucker, and graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1951. 

 
Carolyn became a member of First Presbyterian Church of Yakima in the 1950’s and was a founding member, board member, and served as president of the Yakima Chapter of Allied Arts Council in the 1960’s. An avid lover or the arts, she was also a violinist (since 9 years of age) and served as president of the Yakima Civic Symphony for many years. 
 
She married Rudy Kezele in 1975 and worked for 25 years at Yakima Regional (formerly St. Elizabeth Hospital) in medical records transcription. She and her husband Rudy enjoyed many trips locally and overseas. She also enjoyed gardening, music, and the many weekends spent at Eagles Hall dancing, where Rudy played the accordion in a band. 
 
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her sweet smile and gentle spirit will be missed.
 
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Rudy Kezele, daughters, Cheryl Miller and Teri Steiner, step-daughters, Cynthia Kezele and Judy (Steve) Sinclair, grandchildren, Daniel Miller, Justine (Jared) Yoakum, Sharell (Joseph) Calhoun and great grandchildren, Mia Miller, Gracie Calhoun and Olivia Yoakum. She is preceded in death by her son, Mike Steiner, and step-son, Brad Kezele. 

A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
