Gregory P. Dick died peacefully at Cedar Hills Adult Residential Family Home with family by his side on September 28, 2017. Greg was born to Gerald and Frances Cate in Missoula, MT on May 20, 1953. Greg spent his early years in Winthrop, WA moving to Yakima in 1971 where he made his home with his first wife Shelly. Together they raised two boys, Loren and Travis Dick. In 1995 he married Tracie and acquired one more son, Timothy Robinson.

Greg was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing, with fishing being his favorite. He spent many years on the banks of the Klickitat River with his boys and many good friends including, Bob and Linda York. He also loved backyard BBQ’s and cooking, making up his own recipes. He always looked forward to our annual “Fish Camp” in August at North Bonneville. He loved spending time with his family. Greg was also a diehard Seahawk fan. He never missed a game and loved spending it with his kids and all their friends.
Greg is survived by his wife Tracie Dick, his son Loren Dick (Tricia); his son Travis Dick (Dawn); his son Timothy Robinson; six grandchildren, Justin Dick, Derek Dick, Taylor Dick, Rebekah Dick, Makenzie Robinson, and Cooper Robinson; two brothers, Steve Maddox (Toni), and Pat Maddox (Doreen); and many good friends.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, his father-in-law, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law.
There will be a Celebration of life for Greg at the Yakima Arboretum on October 28th at 12:00 PM. All are welcome to come and share a memory, or a favorite story about their time with Greg. It’s a casual affair, you may wear Seahawk gear if you wish to. There will be a potluck following the celebration, please join us. A special thank you to Cedar Hills Residential Family home and all the wonderful care givers who took such good care of him these last few months. Also, special thanks to Heartlinks Hospice for all their compassion and wonderful care they also gave to Greg. 
In lieu of flowers, we suggest you make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association or to ALS Evergreen Chapter in care of Brookside Funeral Home (PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936).
