Larry Steven Worley, 66, passed away at Cottage in The Meadow after a short battle with cancer.

Born March 16, 1951, Larry was the son of Pat Tieman and Junior Worley. He was raised and educated in Yakima, graduating from A.C. Davis in 1970. Larry made many life-long friendships during these years, you know who you are!! He worked many years at Martin-Marietta and Jeld-Wen Summit Windows & Doors. 

After being a bachelor for 37 years he met his wife Gloria, they married on January 16, 1988. Together they raised two sons, John and Sean. Sports became a big part of his life, then and later with grandkids, not missing many games. They all brought him much joy. 
Larry enjoyed hunting, the beach, time spent with friends and family, and being at Jim and Dina’s watching the Seahawks. He was a lifelong fan of the Mariners and Seahawks, during the good seasons and bad. Vintiques were also high on his list. 
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Gloria, sons, John E. Phillips (Dana) and Sean M. Phillips (Adrianne), granddaughters, Michaela, Olivia, and Isabella, grandson, Brody, all of Yakima, his brother, Gary Worley, sister, Patti Hipp also of Yakima, sisters-in-law, Teresa Herber and (Mark) and Julie Cecil, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Del and Pat Tieman, brother, Ricky Tieman, grandmother, Bertha Simon, sister, Debbie, in-laws, John & Mary Lou Olivas, and brother-in-law, Larry Cecil.
A Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Friday, October 6th at 11:00am at Brookside Funeral Home (500 W. Prospect, Moxee). Those wishing to attend are asked to wear Seahawk or Mariners attire in honor of Larry’s love for our teams.
