Dorothy Weishaar, 98, peacefully passed away in her sleep on September 18, 2017.  She was born on September 13, 1919 to Mike and Alice Moser, in Bismarck, North Dakota. She was 1 of 12 children born to Mike and Alice.  The family moved to Yakima in 1935 where she lived most of her life, except during WWII, when she worked at the Kaiser Shipyards, in Vancouver, Washington.  One of her fond memories was meeting Eleanor Roosevelt who came to the shipyards to meet the many works.  She took great joy in raising her 4 children and her home was always open to grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
Dorothy is survived by her children Donna (Bob) Reynolds, of Camas, WA and Richard (Carolyn) Weishaar, of Ahtanum, as well as her 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Alice, Mary, and Tracy, all of Yakima. 
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rueben Weishaar and her sons, Gene Dobbs and Frank Dobbs.
A private Graveside Service was held at Calvary Cemetery.
