Barbara Ellen Stubner, 64, a resident of Union Gap died at home on July 29, 2017. Barbara was born the daughter of Albert and Gladys (Barett) Schneider on September 24, 1952 in Yakima, WA. She attended school in Yakima where she met her husband, Raymond, of 47 years, and were married on December 6, 1969. Three children followed Raymond, Jolene, and Kathleen.

Barbara was a very devoted mother, wife, and grandmother. Her family was the most important thing in the world to her, she would do anything for them. She was an avid camper, going out almost every weekend with Raymond and the fifth wheel in tow. Barbara always had the grandkids over at the house, she loved to spend time with them as often as she could. Barbara was a very kind-hearted person, with an avid online shopping habit, but never bought anything for herself. She would always find a deal for the grandkids or her children and get it for them. She also loved animals, especially her two dogs, Russel and Si Stubner.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 47 years, Raymond Jr., her children, Raymond (Dona) Stubner III, Jolene (Justin) Lakey, and Kathleen (Daniel) Pauling. She is also survived by her siblings, Sarah Doyle, Phylis Foutz, Alberta Skeen, and Terry Schneider. Barbara is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael, Mya, Emma, Dylon, Samantha, Alicia, Levi, Layne, Bailey, and Jacob, and one great grandson, Bronson. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, David Schneider.

A Memorial Service will be held to honor the life of Barbara on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Yakima Human Society in care of Brookside Funeral Home (PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936).
