Timothy “Tim” R. McKelheer passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Yakima Regional Hospital. Tim was born November 25, 1948 in Yakima, WA. He was raised in Moxee, WA. He was the 4th of 4 children. 
 
Tim met Jeanne Bales in 1975, they were married in 1978. They had their first daughter in 1980 and second daughter in 1986. He was a loving and dedicated husband, dad, grandpa, father-in-law, and friend to so many. 
 
Tim loved to fish and play his music. He might have only been 100 lbs. but food was his passion. He loved to go out to eat and Mexican food was his favorite. He will be missed by so many that love him. 
 
Tim is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeanne McKelheer, his two daughters, Sara (Pat) Glenn, and Hannah McKelheer (Chris Kingsbury), three grandsons, Bryce (16), Hunter (12), and Jacob (10) (also known as little Timmy). He is also survived by his mother in law, Jean Bales, his two brothers, Mike (Chris) McKelheer, and John (Judy) McKelheer, a great uncle Wally (Judy) McKelheer, three brother-in-laws, Collin (Donna) Bales, Kelly Bales, and Brian (Beth) Bales, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Maxine McKelheer, his sister, Linda LaRiviere, and his father-in-law, Clayton Bales. 
 
A Celebration of Life to honor Tim will be on Saturday, July 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Funeral Home (500 Prospect, Moxee, WA 98936). Tim would want everyone to eat lots of food, dance and celebrate his life. The family will be having a potluck jam session in August. The family will get a hold of everyone to join.
