Marie Tripp, 45, of Naches, peacefully passed away on May 11, 2017 at Cottage in The Meadow, surrounded by her loving family and friends, following a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born on November 7, 1971 in Yakima, WA to John and Janice Mullinnex. She married Bob Tripp on November 14, 1992. Together they had 3 children, Kylyn, Ryker, and Kyler. Marie graduated YVC with her dental hygiene degree and went on to earn her Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University.

Marie was the ultimate mom, not only for her own children, but also her community, children’s sports teams, and so many others.  Marie had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior.  She lived who she was because of her love for Jesus. Marie was proud to be a State Certified Dental Hygienist, caring for her patients at Chalet Dental. She was a dedicated instructor at YVC in the Dental Hygiene Program, teaching didactic and clinical courses. She leaves a legacy of faith, family, and what it means to be a strong pillar in the community.
Marie  is survived by her husband, Bob Tripp, and their children, Kylyn, Ryker, and Kyler, all of Naches. She is also survived by her father, John Mullinnex.  Marie is also survived by her church and work family, and so many friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Janice, and grandmother, Marilyn, Papa John, and uncle, Jer Bear.
The family would like to thank Kim Hussey, Chelle Kessinger, Randy and Mary Dean, Jeanie Reinmuth, Brandy Freeze, and Janet Ries, for their dedication and love to Marie.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Friday, May 19th at 1:00PM at Memorial Bible Church (111 Old Stage Way, Yakima).  Memorial contributions are suggested to Cottage in The Meadow’s Capital Campaign, in care of Brookside Funeral Home (PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA, 98936), who is caring for the family.
